daily schedule

While you may have an impulsive and spontaneous kind of personality, it can cause anxiety and stress for your child as they never really know what is going to happen next. Just like adults, children feel more confident and secure when their daily activities and their environment are predictable and familiar. Research shows that repetition helps children to know what to expect and feel safe.

Routines don’t have to be boring!

uniforms

We provide comfortable 100% cotton uniforms (shirt and shorts) and dri-fit material uniforms (shirt and shorts). The cotton uniform is included in the THB 5,000 entrance fee (one time payment). If you wish to purchase more uniforms, it costs THB 500 per set.

Uniforms:

  • Nourish a sense of equality

  • Help a student standing out because of their character and not their clothes

  • Prevent children from wearing ‘fashion clothes’ that could be distracting

  • Promote a feeling of community and belonging

  • Are practical for outdoor play, where we will get muddy

  • Allow children to show pride wearing them!

transition period

For a smooth transition for your child, we follow a concept that was developed by educators in Germany based on the “Berlin model.”

Typically, the transition period takes a couple of days up to 2 weeks, this depends on each individual child and their needs. Please bring your child regularly to the kindergarten during the transition period and remain with your child for the first days.

You are a very important emotional security for your child!

Parents and the teacher will agree on the time of the first short separation (15-30 min). A short goodbye is very important for your child. You will leave the kindergarten and remain accessible. The behavior of your child shows us whether we succeeded the first attempt of separation.

We will increase the time of separation until your child can be securely separated for a whole day. All steps of further transition will be discussed individually. This method is proven for a secure and trustworthy transition for your child.

Social/Emotional Learning

At Seeds we emphasize on teaching social-emotional learning as we believe this is crucial in the first years of a lifelong learning. This includes how to identify and regulate our emotions, being mindful, self-love, relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and effective communication with others.

Children learn appropriate behavior quickly through observing other children and the teachers. Therefore, we try to be the best possible role models by creating a secure and positive community feeling.

We use research backed positive reinforcement such as praising the goal behavior such as helping, speaking up for themselves, listening, sharing and becoming more independent.. At Seeds you find a relaxation corner where we calm children that have an emotional outburst and need special attention.

The children will learn the rules of the kindergarten by learning how to say sorry, sharing, tidying up together, saying stop when they don't like something, listening when another person is speaking, and showing respectful and kind behavior.
